When my bones were being formed, carefully put together in my mother's womb, when I was growing there in secret, you knew that I was there - you saw me before I was born. The days allotted to me had all been recorded in your book, before any of them ever began.
Psalm 139:15-16 (GNT)
Yesterday we celebrated the life of a very special young woman who lived a full 29 years of life. She passed from this life into eternity unexpected to all of us, but fully known by God.
During the service a number of people reflected on her life. In short, her life greatly impacted everyone who knew her. Phrases that were repeatedly conveyed included the joy that she exuded and the love that she shared with others. She lived her life fully, and her life blessed everyone around her.
After the service, some of us reflected on our own lives. What will we leave behind when we are gone? What impact will our lives leave on others?
Everyone is both special and unique. God has created each of us for a specific purpose and plan. Are we seeking to fulfill His purpose for our lives?
Live your life knowing that your life matters and that the legacy you leave will last for eternity. Your life will continue to impact others after you are gone. Draw ever closer to God in seeking to fulfill His purpose and plan for your life.
"You weren't an accident. You weren't mass produced. You aren't an assembly-line product. You were deliberately planned, specifically gifted, and lovingly positioned on the Earth by the Master Craftsman."
