You will keep him in perfect peace,
Whose mind is stayed on You,
Because he trusts in You.
(Isaiah 26:3 NKJV)
Let's face it, sometimes life is busy. Many of the things we do are with good motives, but sometimes we can become frazzled with all of the activities.
The way to peace is to spend time in quiet prayer to the God who is our Peace. This can seem counterintuitive because in order to have peace, we need to stop and be still. It is in choosing to stop and pray that we are able to receive the blessing of God's peace.
God has promised us that if we continually seek His face in all that we do or say, that He will bless us with His peace. The action on our part is to commit to take the time to receive it.
"If peace seems elusive in your life today, commit yourself to God, commit your concerns to Him in prayer, and then rest peacefully as you trust in Him." - David P. Jeremiah
